Myanmar Living in the water
Inle Lake is the second largest freshwater lake in Myanmar with an area of almost 120 quatrakm and is situated at an altitude of almost 1000 m. Most people there are farmers or fishermen. They are predominantly devout Buddhists and live around, from and in the lake, mostly in simple houses on stilts.
