The city of Bagan with its more than 2,000 pagodas and temples is one of the country's sights. Especially at sunrise the temple area develops into a picturesque site due to the penetrating sunrays. The best time to travel is from November to March. Actually no Myanmar trip takes place without a visit to Bagan, a highlight is the ballooning over the temples.
From October to the beginning of March, balloons rise into the sky at sunrise to fly over the temple complex and show tourists the full extent of the area. A balloon flight over this scenery is demonstrably an unforgettable experience.
