Spitzkoppe is well known as one of the most photogenic locations in Namibia. It's popular, but like most of Namibia that's still a lot less crowded than a lot of places.

Photography Tips

In general for Spitzkoppe make sure you have as wide a lens as possible, it's a huge place made for epic wide shots!

Travel Information

Spitzkoppe is a short drive from the main tarmac B2 road between Swakopmund and Windhoek. By Namibian standards, pretty easy to get to! You do have to pay a fee to enter as a day visitor even if you are not camping in the area overnight.
