Come as early as possible or stay as long as possible. The colours of the desert changes every moment at sunrise and sunset.

Travel Information

The way to Sossusvlei lies in a national park, you are allowed to be there only during daytime. Only if you stay in a lodge within the fence you are allowed to be there earlier or later. Driving the street to Sossusvlei stop here and there and look at the amazing dunes. Usaually it´s very hot, bring lot´s to drink.
