Salvadora is a waterhole in Etosha National Park directly located at the southern edge of the large salt pan. The shallow water is often used by medium sized to large mammals. Wildebeest, springbok and zebra are common and may be encountered at any visit. Other species, e.g. giraffe, are also regularly seen.
The plain between Salvadora and the nearby waterhole Sueda is one of the best areas to see cheetah in Etosha.

Photography Tips

Tele photo lenses are required. As you will capture your images out of a car, a normal tripod is more or less useless. Best option to stabilize the lens is a bean bag.
