Namibia Okonjima cheetahs, Namibia
The Okonjima Nature Reserve in Namibia is renowned for its conservation efforts, mainly through the AfriCat Foundation, which focuses on protecting and rehabilitating cheetahs and other large carnivores. The reserve allows visitors to observe cheetahs in their natural habitat and learn about these majestic animals' challenges in the wild. Guests can witness the tracking, feeding, and care of rehabilitated cheetahs through guided tours and educational programs, gaining insight into the crucial conservation work to ensure their survival.
Photography Tips
Bring a telephoto lens if you want to get close to the animals. You won't be able to walk around but sit in a car with no windows, which helps you get some decent photos on this short safari!
Travel Information

The amount of wild stock here is incredible and worth visiting. It's recommended to have a 4WD car since the road is not paved and 17km long to reach the reception of the hotel complex.
