Namib-Naukluft National Park, located in Namibia, is a vast and diverse wilderness area renowned for its stunning desert landscapes and unique biodiversity. Encompassing part of the Namib Desert, the oldest desert in the world, and the Naukluft Mountains, this park offers visitors an array of natural wonders to explore.

Photography Tips

Early morning and late afternoon provide the best lighting for photography. Make sure to use a telephoto lens better to compress the mountains and the huts in the foreground. You also want to keep some distance since it's a hotel, and you don't want to distract any guests.

Travel Information

Namib-Naukluft National Park is situated in central Namibia, with the main access point near the town of Sesriem. The park entrance fee is approximately NAD 100 per person per day for international visitors, with additional fees for vehicles. The cooler months from April to October are ideal for visiting when temperatures are more comfortable for exploring the desert.
