This the most spectacular suspension bridge I have seen in Nepal. The bridge, the crossing people and the surrounding scenery are very photogenic!

Photography Tips

Bring a polarizing filter and a wide angle lens!

Travel Information

The suspension bridge is approx. 2-3 km from the airport. If you take a taxi it will be easy and affordable. Or even better I would hire a driver for a day to get around in the area.

Dear Vidyanath! It's a couple of years since I've been there. But as far as I remember it will be very easy to find. You just ask on the main street and everybody will know what you are looking for. I'd say the major thing to consider is probably time/light rather than position. Because you can change your position easily when you are there, but you cannot change the light! So if I would be you (or if I would go there again) I would make sure that I'll be there either in the morning or in the late afternoon to capture the bridge and the surrounding landscape in warm and soft light. When I took my photo the light was still a bit harsh. So good luck and good light! Kind regards Thorge
