If you come down from the Kongma La Pass and take a detour from the trail, you will find amazing photo opportunities with the dramatic Lhotse and Nuptse range in the back.

Place a person to create depth, scale and an adventure character to the frame. Separate the subject from the mountain by placing it in front of a contrasty background like fog, clouds or something colorcontrasty.

Travel Information

From Chukhung, you take the trail up the path and then leave the trail at some point to the right. You will find some smaller hills situated at around 5.200m which offer super good views on the Lhotse and Nuptse face. You will need to get back up around 500m elevation on a few kilometers.
