Nepal Kongma La Pass, upper eastern plateau
The way down from the Kongma La Pass offers a very close view to the western face of Mount Ama Dablam. There is no chance you won't be fascinated non-stop but that view!! Just stunning.
Photography Tips
Place a person into the frame to create the adventure character. If it's daytime, go for slightly underexposed settings to avoid loosing highlights. If a ridge is around, make sure the person follows it upwards to create a logical parallel line with the mountain.
Travel Information
The Kongma La Pass is situated at 5.545m which is quite high. The way up is long and tiring and you need to be acclimatized to the altitude when going up. Take crampons since many sections will be permanently frozen and icy.
