New Zealand Buller Gorge streams

The Buller George contains a number of side streams that have lovey little water falls and a very large populate of sand flies. The water in the streams can be brown from the high tannin content caused by the peaty soil.

Photography Tips

Cover all exposed skin as you will be eaten alive by the sand files.

Polarizing and ND filters will help remove reflections from the rocks and allow you to increase the shutter speed.
