A wonderful spot just south of Dunedin in the south island of New Zealand. It works for a great oceans cape with ocean, waves and rocks with the possibility of a great sunrise.

Photography Tips

Look at the timing of the sunrise and location on some ephemeris app and also time your tides for the best shot. Set up your tripod early with camera attached, remote shutter release and a proper focus setting.

Travel Information

Travel south from Dunedin finding the Brighton Rd. Just before entering the town look for a small pull off on the left side of the road, park the car and take a small walk down to the beach and set up your shot.
