Calving Sunrise

​Upon my adventures in the South Island of New Zealand, I found myself staying on a dairy farm for a few days, Given the terrible weather forecast from the day before, I still hadn't got that gorgeous sunrise shot I had dreamt of.

However, I threw caution to the wind that morning and got up anyway! At the crack of dawn, I woke up in seconds after looking out the window, running down the road to set up the composition I had been eyeing up for days. The sounds of cow's calving filled the air as the new day's sun peaked, creating the most beautiful morning, a true celebration of life itself.
