A short pier out into Hawke's Bay. A great place to sit and watch the waves crash onto the shore. The surrounding area has some nice Art Deco architecture as well.

Try to catch this at sunrise for the best light and fewest people. Be aware of the tide as well. This was shot at sunrise on Christmas Day so there were very few people out and about.

This is in a public park so parking shouldn't be an issue.
