Castlepoint Lighthouse is a very beautiful spot on the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand without many tourists. Get there on a regular weekday and you might be the only one who has this great view.

Make sure to bring a sturdy tripod as it probably will be extremely windy.

Parking is available only a few hundred meters away from the lighthouse. You can even camp there for free with a self-contained vehicle.
