New Zealand Entrance Ruakuri Cave

The Ruakuri cave is fully accessible for people in weelchairs. Thanks to the spiral-entrance and the walkways. The cave is also known for its glowworms. Unlike the nearby Waitomo-cave, photography is allowed here.

Photography Tips

I took the photo with a 20 mm wide angle lens from the top of the spiral entrance of the cave. Because of the high iso (5000) I did removed the noise in lightroom.

Travel Information

The site is accessible by car. Parking is available. The entrance is charged and you have to book a guided tour.
