There is almost no better view in and around Wanaka than the view up from Treble Cone. The camp spot is wind protected and is the perfect place for an overnight adventure.

Travel Information

To get access to the Treble Cone Ski Area, you would need a passcode which you might get in Wanaka when asking locals. Otherwise it's all the way up by foot, From the parking, it is another steep 800m elevation all the way up to the actual summit. Camping is allowed and no problem.
