Norway The Dragons Eye of Uttakleiv
This location is home to the famous Dragon's Eye tide pool which has become a famous shot in Lofoten, but there are plenty of other compositions along the beach with other tide pools and rock formations. It can only be accessed at low tide.
Photography Tips
To catch the famous Dragon's Eye composition turn left as you reach the giant stone heart at the beach, walking up from the car park. Usually, it's surrounded by photographers and fairly easy to spot.
Don't stop there, though - there are lots of tide pools and places where the waves flow over the rocks.
This place is fairly good for aurora photography as it's easy to find North-facing compositions for nights when the aurora isn't strong. It's also good at sunset during the winter if you have a clear enough sky for the cliffs to be lit up.
