It's one of my favorite spots on the Lofoten Islands. The Munkebu hut has been voted "The most scenic hut in Norway" and you'll definitely understand why. The surroundings are stunning.

Photography Tips

I went there on a Midsummer night. You should stay awake until midnight to witness this amazing experience. The lake a little further is very beautiful to photograph.

Travel Information

The hike starts in Sorvagen and is approx. 10 km. There are some steep sections but overall not very difficult. I recommend this hike to every nature lover!
