It's one of Pøbel's nicest pieces of street art on Lofoten. It's placed near Fv862 on Gymsøya.
Pøbel means "people" or "folk" and is the pseudonym of an anonymous Norwegian artist from Bryne, Norway. His work includes paintings, photographs, sculptures, placemaking, and site-specific projects.

Photography Tips

Try to find your best composition with the house and the nice flowers in the foreground.

Travel Information

Drive Fv862 to the north and look towards the island to find that building. There are many more street art pieces on Lofoten. A lot of them are in Henningsvaer.

The coordinates are indeed not exact: the piece is situated much more north, in the small village of Vinje (pass the golf and the horse riding center, and then turn left, continue around 1 km: the yellow house with the piece is on the left side of the road... There's a grocery there, where people can give you some further details). But in february 2020, both house and piece were still there (and still beautiful!)

Thank you very much for the hint. Another user also reported this spot and did send me the correct coordinates, so I just fixed it.

Is it possible that the coordinates and position of this location is wrong? Drove the whole FV861 and 862 and couldn't find it .. :/

Hmm sorry to hear that, but it was there when I drove the road last summer. Perhaps the house was demolished?!
