Norway Urnes Stave Church
Urnes Stave Church is one of the most ancient ones and one of the most well preserved.
Travel Information
The easiest is to take the ferry at Solvorn. The trip takes 15 minutes and offers nice views on the fjord; alternatively, you can take the fv331 road from Skjolden (on route 55), but be aware that this is often a single lane road.
There are only a very few parking places in the vicinity of the church, so the best solution is to go there by foot after parking your car at the free car park where fv331 crosses the lane exiting from the ferry point.
