Norway Barcode, Oslo

If you're into modern architecture photography, the Barcode should be very interesting. Located between the Oslo Opera (another incredible building) and the railway tracks, each building is interesting and worth a separate photo, yet all of them make an even better impression.

Photography Tips

Tripod + as wide lens as possible.
Use telelens to capture some interesting details or patterns, such as the triangle-shaped windows of the Deloitte building.
One good viewpoint - from the west - is from the bridge Nylandsveien, but try also from the most eastern end. Go between the buildings, and point the camera up... Plenty of potential compositions!

Kris, I really love all these photos. So beautiful. Are these all taken at the same spot though? I am asking because if the content of the photos is so different, it's usually better to have multiple spots. Just wanted to feature one or two of these beautiful photos in the Explore section but I can't because I want to be sure that the photo matches the exact geo-position. Thank you for a short feedback, really appreciate it. Manuel

Hi Manuel, thanks for the kind words. The greatest thing about this place is that all of these buildings are in fact next to each other, and all of them remain within 300m distance. While first 3 photos are the same building, I could add new spots for the further buildings and upload the photos there, then remove them from this spot if you want me to. I started this spot long time ago, and in fact it could be split into several places now when I have more photos to upload :) Would that work for you?

Hey Kris, you are just awesome, thank you for this kind suggestion, really appreciate it. Feel free to decide for yourself. Since they are very close it's not a big deal but I would probably create multiple spots just to make them easier to find and some of these might have different information about the specific building or whatever. If you create other spots as well, please don't delete the photos in this spot. In can move them over and delete the new identical photos so that you keep the likes on the photos. I will definitely highlight some of them then. Especially the black front with the golden window looks so awesome.

Hey, as said before I am leaving the first three photos here, but the remaining ones can be deleted / moved to three new spots I have created. And thank you, the photo you mentioned is among my favorite shots from this recent trip!
