Tranøy is a small village in northern Norway. It´s quiet isolated at the northeastside of Tranøy island. This little lighthouse is situated outside the village on a small island.

Bring you tripod and time, it´s so beautiful you will stay for quiet a while. When you go in winter bring thick clothes.

I'm sorry, though this tiny black, white and red lighthouse is nice and its surroundings are beautiful, but Tranøy Fyr is a tall, dark red lighthouse surrounded by several buildings.

Maybe you are right. We went to this lighthouse by boat and they told us it is Tranoy Fyr. I will find out the right name. By the way, do you speak german?

Ja, wir sind mit unserem Wohnmobil dort hin gefahren und haben auch dort übernachtet.

Es ist sensationell schön dort. Wir waren mit dem Schlauchboot auf Walbeobachtungstour und haben in Tranoy angelegt und Brotzeit gemacht. Es war im Januar und es war bitterkalt. Aber unglaublich schön, einfach unvergesslich.

Ja, es ist eine besonders schöne Ecke Norwegens. Wir sind natürlich nicht zu diesem Leuchtturm gefahren, sondern zu dem großen, den ich gerade hier veröffentlicht habe. Nord-Norwegen im Winter ist wegen gelegentlich stremgem Frost (meistens hält der Golfstrom die Küsten relativ wenig kalt) und wegen großer Schneemassen herausfordernd. Oh ja, ich liebe Norwegen, ist mein absolutes Lieblingsland. Habe deswegen norwegisch gelernt. Ich war bestimmt schon 15 x dort. Und sehne mich nach dem 16. Mal.
