Norway Reinebringen, Lofoten Islands
The climb to Reinebringen is perhaps the most famous hiking trail in Lofoten. The viewpoint is ideally located at 448m above the island-strewn fjord of Reine. The island town of Moskenesøya is also the starting point of this tour. The starting point for bringing Reine is the Reinehalsen car park and vantage point to the southwest, which offers very few parking spaces. Alternatively, there are other parking spaces on the main island about 1km from Reinehalsen.
Photography Tips
Bring some extra time hiking up here since you have many different spots to check out. It is also good to have at least a wide-angle and tele-zoom lens for various images. A drone might be handy as well!
Travel Information
A few years ago, the difficulty of the ascent route was significantly reduced by a step up. The reason lies in the increased popularity of this hiking tour, whereby both the ascending hikers were exposed to the danger of increasing rockfalls, but nature was also damaged by mass tourism. The step expansion thus represents a good compromise between safety and sustainability.
