Norway Gamle Stavanger

The area known as Gamle Stavanger is located on the west side of Vågen harbor and consists wooden houses, which provides a good contrast for a day in the city instead of the surrounding breathtaking nature.

With this small area, the most important thing is to bring time. Take your time to look around instead of making a quick snapshot. Since cruise ships dock there, you should use the times early in the morning when the streets are not yet crowded. An all-rounder (e.g. 24-70mm) offers good possibilities for different angles here.

Easily accessible due to its location. You can either drive directly to the city or take one of the ferries if you are at the other end of a fjord. The city has various parking options.
