Photography Tips

You can get this perspective only by flying your drone over the edge and further out. Keep an eye on manned aircraft in the airspace while exceeding the altitude of 120m. A polarization filter might be handy since you must deal with light and shadow.

Travel Information

It's pretty tricky to get to this spot. Close to Bjorli, you will have to leave the E136 and follow a dirt road for roughly 25 km. Keep in mind: there is no GPS signal or reception to call someone in an emergency. You should only enter the road if your car has a spare tire. Once you made it to the marked parking position, you could either fly the drone from here or hike down to the lake and circle it to the left side towards the drop of the waterfall rushing down into the valley. Stay away from the edge! You could fall several hundred meters.
