The Fødalen landscape conservation area was established on 15 May 1992, and is located in Ål and Hol
municipalities. The area covers an area of approximately 100 km2. The purpose of the protection is to
preserve a beautiful and virtually untouched eastern valley and mountain landscape, with varied
