Norway Old shed near Nordmela

This is one of many old huts that will probably not withstand the weather for much longer. I can well imagine that it would make a good foreground for auroras. You'll find more buildings like this in the surrounding area and maybe you'll have better luck with the weather. Between the two shots there was a day of heavy thunderstorms that melted the high mountains of snow overnight.

I photographed with the telephoto lens, but at night you should of course use a wide-angle lens and a stable tripod for the aurora borealis.

You can park your (rental) car right next to the street. There is not so much traffic here.
