Norway View to Himmeltindan from Offersoykammen, Lofoten

From Offersoykammen you have a great all-round view of the various mountains and beaches of Lofoten. From here you can take great photos of the highest mountain "Himmeltindan" in the region. The snow-covered peak at the top is incredibly beautiful. The mountain is also quite conquerable in the winter months, provided you have the right winter equipment and experience on the mountain.

Come for the sunrise, when the mountains open up their play of light and shadow in the golden hour and incredible line formations are possible. Use the telephoto lens to find new motifs in contrast to the familiar ones. It's worth it! For example, this photo was taken at 300mm.

Parking lot is marked. From here, two trails lead directly from the road up to Offersoykammen. Use offline maps to make sure you don't stray from the path and stick to the route. You should not walk too close to the edge and check the weather conditions beforehand. The wind in particular can be a problem here. Also, the 1.2 kilometers should not be underestimated, as there are 450 meters in altitude. This is particularly difficult in the snow. Grödel and gaiters are a must-have.
