Norway Eggedalen and Sørbotnelva

Eggedalen is located quite remotely neraby the small village Nuvsvåg and gives amazing views on a mountain range covered by the Øksfjord Glacier, It is a lovely valley leading you alongside the mountin lake coming from the glacier.

Photography Tips

There a numerous photo possibilities ranging from wide angle shots at the river to panorama shots o the whole valley. It is literally not possible to not get a nice shot here.

Travel Information

Nuvsvåg is located quite hidden and only accessible by ferry from Øksfjord. From the ferry it is a 20 km drive to the village. Following Nuvsvægveein you will see some signs hinting on the way to Eggedalen. There is also good parking space at the starting point
