Norway Kvænangsfjellet, Nord Troms

Kvænangsfejllet is a scenic mountain range located between Nord-troms and Finnmark in northern Norway. if you take the road E6 towards Nordkapp you definitely crossed the mountain range and have seen the mountais from one side. From the island of Skjervøy there are som nice views on the mountians as well.

Photography Tips

The spot lends itself to some nice winter / nightime shots when the arctic light and the aurora are present. The mountain range with its rough peaks gives a nice focal point with the sea in front. It is best taken zoomed quite a lot so bring a good telephoto zoom range to experiment.

Travel Information

From E6 take the FV866 to Skjervøy. Just before you drive into Skjervøy and after a huge bridge there is a viewpoint with some parking spaces on the right hand side of the road.
