One of the mostly overseen views of the beautiful town of Henningsvaer is the Festvagtinden. Its very Rocky Mountain range makes it a perfect rugged mountain image.

Take as much into the frame as possible by taking a 9-photo panorama and expose for the highlights to avoid loosing detail.

Travel Information

Parking close to the trail head is very limited. Try to get here during the midnight sun in summer. The hike itself is not an easy one since it's mostly steep uphill and on gravel. The height which needs to be climbed is around 530m in only 1.2km. So be prepared for a steep hike!
