Norway Reinebringen Ridge

The Reinebringen is one of the most iconic mountains to hike when arriving on the Lofoten islands by boat. It oversees the beautiful village of Reine and the surrounding fjords and mountains.

The midnight sun creates beautiful photo opportunities in the area. Bring your super wide-angle lens since this area is massive.

The Reinebringen is a challenge of 1987 steps up the 450m high mountain range. Be prepared for shaky legs afterwards. Never go beyond your limits when attempting the ridge line. This is not a winter hike, it's only doable in summer. To reach this spot, you would need to continue on the ridge past the stairs which can quite slippery. Take good care when hiking there.
