Vikten is a village in Flakstad municipality. The place is located north on the eastern part of Flakstadøya, at the end of county road 811, which is part of the National tourist road Lofoten.

Here the Arctic Ocean stands in and grinds stone into beautiful sculptures, here the midnight sun colors the landscape in warm shades. The habitable strip between sea and mountain is not wide, but the Viktenværingen have made the most of the barren conditions.
