Norway Marmorslottet
Marmorslottet (Marble castle) Very surreal place. Glacier waters have sculpted the large marble vein to modern sculptures that Gaudí would be jealous of. Late Autumn is the best time to see the rocks since the water level is low then.
Photography Tips
From wide to closeups. It's a possibility to all kind of shots.
Travel Information
You need a car to get here. It's about 25 minute hike to the spot. Leave your car to the parking lot at the end of the road, walk pass 2 barns to the trail leading to the river. After 15 minutes you'll see a sign "Marmorslottet 550 m" pointing left from the path. At one point the path goes VERY deeply towards the river and you'll see a black & white climbers rope tied to a tree, do NOT use this path down to the river. The correct path to the location goes to the right 7-10 meters BEFORE you see the rope.
