Oman Incense Burner, Muscat, Oman
The Incense Burner of Muscat is a lookout tower at the opposite site of the port of Muscat. It symbolizes the wealth this country got from the crude oil that had been found in the region decades ago.
Photography Tips
I took the pictures when entering resp. leaving the port on a cruise ship. So for other fotogrphers it might be difficult to get the same view. But if you are in Muscat for some time you should visit the park there and you will get different views of this monument.
As the ship moved I could not use a long time exposure. I had to increase the ISO to get a short exposure time. That is why the second picture has no good quality at all - sorr for that.

Travel Information
As we traveled on a cruise ship I can't give any suggestions how to get there.
