Oman Wadi Bani Khalid
Beautiful wadi with large natural pool that's lovely to swim in to cool off from the heat of the sun. Lots of different elements and angles so you can get a variety of photos here.
Photography Tips
As this is an area open to the public where locals swim I'd advise being aware of not including local women in your shots, you may cause offence.
Away from the main pool area, you can scramble about all over the rocks there are a ton of compositions to get.

Travel Information
It's a fun drive into the mountains to reach Wadi Bani Khalid, the road starts from Route 23 at Romail and takes about an hour. Lots of great scenery en route so take your time, you can easily spend a whole day in this area, I wish I had had longer!
It's free to visit, open 8-5 so I don't think it's possible to shoot at sunrise or sunset for regular visitors.
It's a flat 10 min walk from the car park, much easier to access than the hiking involved at some other wadis in this area.
