From Wispan you can walk a 21km hiking route over two passes to Inti Punku Sun Gate. The hike is not touristy at all, very individual. You meet locals, historical ruins and see different great views.

Photography Tips

Take advantage of it when the pass closes and fog rolls over the mountainsides. This can create a mystical mood and give you minimalist images.

Travel Information

For the hike, a guide by a tour company is recommended, because you can also often come into side walls of fog and then quite get lost. Also appropriate hiking apps that work without internet connection are recommended. Bring enough water and food with you.
