Raqaypata is a close unvisited Inca-ruined city where you can still enjoy complete silence. A guide is recommended, who has knowledge of the buildings and can be booked in Cusco or through tour offers.

Photography Tips

With the drone, new perspectives open up here that make it possible to be on one level with the ruined city. We had a permit. Please pay attention to the regular flight regulations, and laws and have a valid driver's license.

Travel Information

Bring sure-footed and rainproof equipment. Parking near the road is possible (see markings). It is easier to book a driver for the day, because the road conditions there are high difficult to drive.
