Philippines Jellyfish Sanctuary, Sohoten Cove
The Jellyfish Sanctuary in the Sohoten Cove is a truly amazing wildlife spot and it consists thousands, if not millions of stingless jellyfish with which you can swim and dive with.
Photography Tips
Repeat as many times as you can hold your breath to have a good separation of jellyfish and humans. Furthermore, it helps a lot when the sun is out. Take the shot straight into the direction of the sun.
Travel Information
This spot is quite difficult to reach. From Siargao, you would need to take a boat to Bucas Grande's harbor. From there take a tuktuk to the Dagatan Sifai Resort. From there, you will need to book yourself a tour into the Sohoten Cove and request the trip to the Jellyfish Sanctuary. In spring, there are millions of jellyfish which are stingless and in different colors. If you come by in winter, you will find colorless jellyfish, but still many.
