I started taking photography seriously about 10 years ago and have used Pentax, Nikon and now Sony (A9 & A7rii). My favourite lenses are the Laowa 12/2.8 (with adapter as 17/4 shift), Loxia 21mm, Voigtlander 35/1.7, Cosina 55/1.2, Canon 135/2 and Sony 100-400 (with TCs).

I come from the UK but have lived in Belgium, Netherlands, France, Nigeria, Austria, Bosnia, Hong Kong and, for the past 20 years, in China.

I'm 60 yrs old and retired (apart from photo sales). Spending most of my time planning trips and processing photos ! I'm currently working on my new website which will display my work (landscapes, travel, street, people, culture, birds) and will also have my travel blog.

This year I traveled to : Cambodia, Thailand, Nepal (one month), Croatia, Scotland, The Lake District (UK), Abu Dhabi and London. We will go to Japan again (it's only 2 hours from Shanghai where I live) in November.

Next Year we are undecided but planning on at least : Tibet (around Xmas - it's better then, it's far warmer than people imagine and the tourists have gone) ! Europe again (Faroes, Italy, UK). Plus of course more places of interest around China - of which my list is still very very long even after all these years living here :D
