The gate that enters into Auschwitz 1 is certainly worthy of a visit for anyone interested in WW2 and the horrors of the Nazi concentration camp system.
Photography Tips
Plan to stay mobile as it is hard to set up a tripod with so many people. Give some reverence to all the people that died here and the atrocities they suffered.
Travel Information
An easy road trip, plenty of parking but plan to arrive early as there are MANY people. There is an entrance fee and the visit requires a guide. If you arrive early enough you can go without one and take pictures at your leisure. Check ahead for opening times.
