Poland Skałki Piekło pod Niekłaniem Reserve
The Skałki Piekło pod Niekłaniem Reserver, which translates into Hell Rocks near Niekłań. Rocks have been created in an early Jurassic, around 200 million years ago. They were created in the coastal zone of the shallow sea, then covering most of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. They are built of sandstone rocks. The rocks owe their shape to Pleistocene erosion, but also to a greater resistance to weathering of sandstones of beach origin (at the top) than sandstones of the shallow coastal zone (at the bottom).
