This shot was taken next just in front of the Hercules Rock on the footpath leading to the main castle.

Photography Tips

Go during the summer months. Winter months are dismal, that said, if you’re lucky you may have some snow. There are nearby restaurants. You’ll be charged to use the bathrooms which I think is 1 or 5 sloty around 20-50p depending which public restroom you use. Hike to the castle from Krakow. There’s lots to see and do.

Travel Information

Travel to Poland, onto Krakow and make your way through the Trail of the Eagles Nest or direct to the castle from your nearest city which is either Krakow or from Olsztyn, Czestochowa.
