Portugal Aveiro Lights
Ria de Aveiro is an estuary of the Atlantic coast of Portugal, located in the district of Aveiro and extending inland, parallel to the ocean, a length of nearly 45 km and a maximum width of 11 km, EW from the towns of Ovar in the north to see, in the south.
The ria is the result of the ocean have retreated with subsequent formation of the coasts and shorelines, from the sixteenth century, forming a lagoon that is today one of the hidrogeográficos accidents of the Portuguese coast.
