The Parque das Nações is where Expo 1998 took place, it is a place full of new architecture, the modern zone of the city of Lisbon. You can see here the incredible Oceanarium and the Portugal Pavilion, developed by Álvaro Siza Vieira with a wide square covered by an imposing prestressed concrete pallet that was thought impossible to do.

Photography Tips

On the weekend it's a crowded place. I took the picture on a cloudy day in the morning. you have a still water course that gives this perfect reflex if you place the camera almost on the water

It is very easy to get there. It is very close to Vasco da Gama Shopping mall and to Altice Arena, with every kind of transport you can imagine, underground, railway train, bus...
