The island is not very rich in interesting locations. The light is very white and from 10:00 am to 16:00 pm you need filters. Weather is changing very quickly and a lot of fog is possible.

Photography Tips

Take your camera always with you - and if you like flowers and macros go to Blandy's Garden (Funchal) and you will find a lot of flowers and plants collected and imported some 50 years ago. In Funchal the artist quarter with many paintings at its doorsteps is worth seeing.
