Portugal Alameda de São Dâmaso Post Office & Architecture

Guimaraes central area, with lots of interesting views of buildings. Well worth a wander.

Zoom is your friend.
The inclusion of the red bicycle in the photo of the post office, newsagent, adds a splash of interest to the image. Similarly adding the blue tiled windows to the Aqui writing on the grey stone city wall makes the photo totally different to an image of just grey stone and writing.
Look out for colour contrasts to add to your shot.
Also, as I had a rainy day I was able to include blurred people carrying umbrellas in some frames by seeting a composition with the tripod and waiting for persons with colourful clothing to walk through the photo.

The birthplace of Portugal (Aqui Nasceu Portugal). Part of the central area with cafes, restaurants and shopping.
