The "Casa do Penedo" (Stone House) in Portugal is built between four large rocks that serve as a natural floor, walls, and roof. This architectural oddity is located in northern Portugal, between Celorico de Basto and Fafe. The building was constructed between 1972 and 1974. In its early years, it was used by its owners as a summer residence. Today, the Casa do Penedo houses a small museum and has become a growing tourist attraction.
