Portugal Salto do Rosal

A small waterfall near Lagoa das Furnas.

Take a tripod. To get a higher vantage point, you got 'climb' on a some tree roots, this might be the trickiest part in getting this image. Come late in the day so other tourist are most likely to be gone. Either this or very early. A very wide to wide angle lens is advised for shooting the whole waterfall.

Parking at the main parking area, which is not free, or somewhere on the main road leading away from Furnas, just please be mindful in the way you park your car. The waterfall belongs to a small park with an entrance fee of about 1€. Coming from the main parking area, the entrance to the park comes just after passing the small church on the lake shore. From the entrance it is another 10min to the waterfall, more if you want to wander around in the park.
